Not only does Dr. J have more than 40 years of experience in private practice, he has over 30 years of experience as a board-certified specialist in both internal medicine and companion animal medicine.

Complete Veterinary Care Based on Your Pet's Needs

The centerpiece of your pet's healthcare plan at our veterinary clinic in Skokie is comprehensive and customized pet wellness care, which includes annual nose-to-tail examinations, dental examinations and cleanings, appropriate vaccinations and parasite prevention.

If your pet becomes sick or injured, Dr. J and our medical team are here to provide the right kind of care when your pet needs it most. As a board-certified specialist in internal medicine, Dr. J can provide your pet unmatched expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of complex diseases.

Cat Comfort is Our Specialty

North Shore Veterinary Clinic is committed to making sure each cat we see has the best experience possible. We are very cat friendly and take special steps to ensure your cat is calm and relaxed during appointments. And while most hospitals take your cat into another room for blood draws, 99% of our blood draws are performed in the examination room with the help of one of our gentle technicians – so your cat never needs to be separated from you.

We also schedule cat appointments to minimize the possibility your cat will come into contact with dogs or other cats while at our clinic.

Your First Choice for Veterinary Care in the Chicago Area

Dr. J and the staff at North Shore Veterinary Clinic strongly believe great veterinary care begins with taking the time to get to know your pet, talking with you and giving you all the information you need to be the best possible caregiver for your companion. That's why we prioritize old-fashioned warmth and friendly customer service as highly as we value exceptional veterinary medicine.
